We understand that plans can change. Cancellation charges depend on your confirmed itinerary, the date of cancellation and the conditions of the lodges, airlines, parks, permits and other suppliers involved.
How to cancel
Send your request in writing through the contact form. Include the lead traveller's name, booking reference, travellers affected and the services you wish to cancel. A cancellation takes effect once we acknowledge the request in writing.
Applicable charges
We will review the cancellation terms in your confirmation and the relevant supplier conditions. Deposits, permits, flights, special events and peak-season accommodation may be non-refundable or subject to higher charges. Charges often increase closer to departure because suppliers may be unable to resell the service.
Changing rather than cancelling
Where availability allows, we can explore an alternative date, route or service. A change may involve a price difference or supplier amendment fee. A substantial reduction or replacement of services can be treated as a cancellation and new booking.
Unused services after travel begins
No refund is normally due for services voluntarily not used after travel has started, including missed transfers, accommodation, meals, activities or early departure, unless a supplier agrees otherwise in writing.
Travel disruption
If illness, transport disruption or another unexpected event affects your trip, contact your travel insurer promptly. We can provide booking documents reasonably available to support an insurance claim.
