We strongly recommend that every traveller takes out comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Travel insurance is a contract between you and your chosen insurer; Pori and Beyond Safaris does not sell, underwrite or decide insurance claims.
Suitable cover
Choose cover appropriate for your itinerary and traveller needs. Consider emergency medical treatment, evacuation and repatriation, cancellation and interruption, delayed or lost baggage, personal liability, and the safari, walking, water, trekking or other activities included in your plans. Check policy limits and exclusions directly with the insurer.
Before travelling
Give your insurer all destinations, transit points, travel dates and planned activities. If you are travelling with children or have medical, pregnancy, mobility or other special considerations, confirm suitable cover directly with the insurer.
If something happens
Seek emergency help first where necessary, then contact your insurer as soon as possible. Keep receipts, medical reports, police reports and written evidence of disruption. We can provide itinerary and supplier documents reasonably available to support a claim.
Insurance is separate from booking terms
Our booking, cancellation and refund policies still apply even if you do not obtain insurance or if your insurer declines a claim.
