6-Day Oldonyo Lengai, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Safari

Destination: Lake Natron / Oldonyo Lengai Drive from Arusha through the Rift Valley landscape toward Lake Natron, with the journey becoming progressively more remote. After check-in, take a gentle guided lakeshore, village or viewpoint activity according to arrival time and local conditions. The evening is reserved for rest and a safety briefing for any professionally guided Oldonyo Lengai activity included in the package.

Night accommodation: Africa Safari Lake Natron or Lake Natron Camp

Destination: Oldonyo Lengai / Lake Natron Take part in the Oldonyo Lengai mountain program only under experienced local professional guidance and only when route, volcanic, weather and participant conditions are considered suitable. The mountain is steep and demanding, so the guide's decision on continuation or turnaround is final. After the mountain activity, the remainder of the day is kept light for recovery around Lake Natron.

Night accommodation: Africa Safari Lake Natron or Lake Natron Camp

Destination: Lake Natron / Serengeti Leave Lake Natron and travel toward the Serengeti using the most appropriate confirmed route for season, road conditions and gate access. This can be a rough and adventurous overland sector, so travel time is not presented as fixed. Once inside the Serengeti, the remainder of the drive becomes wildlife viewing en route to camp.

Night accommodation: Mara Mara Tented Lodge or comparable northern Serengeti camp

Destination: Serengeti Spend a complete day exploring the central Serengeti, using early morning and late afternoon conditions for strong wildlife opportunities. The guide follows current animal movement rather than a rigid circuit, with time around kopjes, river valleys and open plains. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes and large plains-game herds are possible, but no specific sighting is guaranteed. Lunch can be taken in the field or at camp according to the day plan.

Destination: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Begin with wildlife viewing in the Serengeti before travelling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey changes gradually from open plains to cooler highlands and should be treated as a transfer-and-game-drive day rather than a short road hop. Depending on timing, optional cultural or archaeological stops can be quoted separately. Arrive near the crater rim or Karatu with enough time to rest before the crater safari.

Night accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge or The Retreat at Ngorongoro

Destination: Ngorongoro Enter the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning-to-midday safari, using the cooler hours for wildlife viewing before climbing out of the caldera. After lunch, continue to Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport or the next confirmed connection. The final transfer is planned conservatively; international flight timings should leave enough margin for road conditions and park formalities.
