Day 1Arusha to Tarangire
Lake Manyara
Destination: Tarangire National Park
Travel from Arusha to Tarangire and spend the day exploring elephant country, baobab woodland and the Tarangire River ecosystem. Stop for a picnic lunch and continue the game drive until late afternoon. The first camping night is near Mto wa Mbu, keeping the next morning’s route to Serengeti practical.

Day 2Mto wa Mbu to Central Serengeti

Destination: Serengeti National Park
Drive through the Ngorongoro highlands and across the conservation area into Serengeti National Park. Once inside the park, the transfer becomes a game drive. Arrive in the central Seronera region by late afternoon and settle into the allocated public campsite. Expect simple shared facilities and an unfenced environment; your crew handles tents and cooking.

Day 3Full-Day Serengeti

Destination: Central Serengeti
Spend the full day searching the central Serengeti’s river valleys, kopjes and plains. The exact route remains flexible because wildlife is not stationary.

Day 4Second Full Serengeti Day

Destination: Central Serengeti
A second full day changes the quality of the experience. You can return to a productive lion or leopard area, wait longer at interesting behaviour and travel farther from the busiest circuits if road conditions permit. Migration herds may be accessible seasonally, but the day is designed to be rewarding even when the main migration is elsewhere.

Day 5Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim
Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Destination: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy a final morning game drive as you leave the Serengeti, then continue into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The gradual climb toward the rim brings a dramatic change in altitude and temperature. Reach Simba A in the afternoon and prepare for a cool highland night.

Day 6Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Arusha
Destination: Ngorongoro Crater / Arusha
Descend to the crater floor early for the final major game drive. Explore grasslands, marshes and forest before a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, climb back to the rim and continue through Karatu and Mto wa Mbu to Arusha.
