7-Day Amboseli, Tarangire & Ngorongoro Cross-Border Safari

Destination: Nairobi Meet the Kenya-side representative on arrival and transfer to the hotel. This night gives international travellers time to rest before the cross-border or Kenya safari portion begins. The team confirms luggage arrangements, border documentation and the handover plan between the Kenya and Tanzania operating teams.

Destination: Amboseli Drive south from Nairobi toward Amboseli National Park, with Mount Kilimanjaro often forming the distant backdrop when weather is clear. Amboseli is especially known for elephants, and the day is paced to reach the lodge without turning the transfer into an exhausting schedule.

Destination: Amboseli / Arusha Leave Amboseli and travel toward the Namanga border for Kenya exit and Tanzania entry formalities. Vehicles and guides may change according to licensing and operating arrangements, so the itinerary allows proper time for the handover rather than treating the border as an instant stop. Continue to Arusha for the night and a briefing with the Tanzania safari team.

Destination: Tarangire Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park. After entry formalities, begin a game drive among baobab woodland, open savannah and the Tarangire River system. The park is especially well known for elephants, while giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and predators are also possible. The day allows time for a picnic or lodge lunch before continuing wildlife viewing toward the overnight property.

Destination: Tarangire / Ngorongoro Enjoy a final Tarangire wildlife drive before leaving the park and travelling toward Karatu and the Ngorongoro highlands. The shorter transfer creates a more relaxed day than driving directly to Serengeti, and it positions the group well for the crater the next morning. Arrive at the lodge with time for dinner and rest.

Destination: Ngorongoro Enter the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning-to-midday safari, using the cooler hours for wildlife viewing before climbing out of the caldera. The final transfer is planned conservatively; international flight timings should leave enough margin for road conditions and park formalities.
