It begins with a restorative night at Legendary Lodge on an Arusha coffee estate, giving international guests time to recover before safari. Meet a Pori & Beyond representative at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer privately to Legendary Lodge. There is no game drive scheduled on arrival day. Instead, the focus is rest: settle into the gardens, enjoy dinner and recover from the international journey so the safari begins properly the next morning.

Day 2Arusha to Tarangire
Tarangire National Park
Destination: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire or use a flight upgrade if requested and practical. Enter the park for a private game drive through baobab country before checking into Sanctuary Swala, Nimali Tarangire or another comparable high-end property. The afternoon can include further game viewing or a slower lodge experience depending on arrival time.
