Overview
This package is ideal for travellers with limited time who do not want to choose between safari and beach. Rather than using a long road transfer into the Serengeti, the itinerary uses a scheduled domestic flight from Arusha to the Serengeti, giving the guest more time for game viewing. Three nights in the Serengeti allow multiple wildlife drives and a better chance to explore different habitats instead of rushing through the park.
On Day 4 the guest flies from the Serengeti to Zanzibar and the pace changes completely. The final three nights are designed around beach time, optional Stone Town or spice experiences and a relaxed finish before departure. The package can be upgraded for honeymooners, families or luxury travellers.

Day 1Arusha to Serengeti

Destination: Serengeti
Transfer to Arusha Airport and take a scheduled flight into the Serengeti. On arrival, meet your safari guide at the airstrip and begin your first wildlife drive as you travel toward the lodge. Depending on landing time, wildlife movement and the lodge location, the afternoon may include open plains, river valleys and kopjes used by predators and plains game.

Day 2Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Serengeti
Destination: Serengeti
Spend a complete day exploring the Serengeti. Your guide plans the route according to recent wildlife movement, road conditions and sightings instead of following a rigid circuit. The day may be operated as a full-day game drive with picnic lunch or divided into morning and afternoon drives.

Day 3Serengeti Wildlife Experience

Destination: Serengeti
A second full safari day gives time to slow down at productive sightings and explore a different sector. Look for lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hyena, zebra and antelope while enjoying the scale of the Serengeti landscape. A balloon safari may be added where available and operational.

Day 4Serengeti to Zanzibar

Destinations: Serengeti, Zanzibar
Enjoy a final morning wildlife drive if flight timing allows, then transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar. Meet your island transfer driver and continue to the beach hotel.
