This is the most premium package in the collection and should be marketed as a seasonally designed Great Migration safari rather than a fixed “crossing guarantee”. The Great Migration is a continuous movement of wildebeest and zebra through the wider Serengeti ecosystem, responding to rainfall and grazing. Pori & Beyond should therefore place the final three Serengeti nights in the most appropriate region for the client’s dates, using a high-quality seasonal camp or northern Serengeti property.
Asilia’s Ubuntu Migration Camp, for example, operates in different Serengeti locations according to season, while Sayari Camp is a premium northern Serengeti option close to the Mara River area. Exact herd location and river-crossing events remain unpredictable. The value of this package is not a promise of one dramatic moment; it is the combination of enough time, appropriate seasonal positioning, experienced guiding and high-quality accommodation.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer privately to Legendary Lodge. The first day is intentionally free of safari pressure. Use the gardens, spa or quiet cottage to recover from your flight and meet your safari representative for a final route briefing.

Day 2Arusha to Tarangire
Tarangire National Park
Destination: Tarangire National Park
Travel to Tarangire by private vehicle or optional light aircraft where the final routing supports it. Begin wildlife viewing among baobabs and elephant habitat, then settle into Sanctuary Swala or a comparable high-end Tarangire property.

Day 4Tarangire to Ngorongoro

Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Travel into the highlands and arrive at Ngorongoro Lodge Meliá Collection. Keep the afternoon light, with optional spa or crater-rim experiences where available, so the next day can start early.

Day 5Ngorongoro Crater to Seasonal Serengeti Migration Area
Serengeti
Destination: Ngorongoro Crater / Serengeti
Descend early for a private Ngorongoro Crater game drive, then continue toward the Serengeti migration region selected for your dates. Depending on season, routing may be overland, by scheduled light aircraft from a suitable airstrip, or a combination. From roughly mid-December to mid-March the focus may be the southern Serengeti/greater Ndutu ecosystem; from June into October, northern Serengeti may be prioritised. The final choice is based on current camp operation, flight schedules and expected wildlife movement.

Day 6Great Migration Safari

Large wildebeest and zebra concentrations can attract predators and create dramatic wildlife interactions, but no specific herd size, calving event or river crossing can be guaranteed.

Day 7Second Great Migration Safari Day
Serengeti
Destination: Seasonal Serengeti Migration Area
A second full day is essential for a serious migration itinerary. It gives you another chance to respond to changing herd movement and reduces the pressure to chase a single event. Depending on the property and season, an optional hot-air balloon safari, walking activity or private photographic setup may be available at additional cost.

Day 8Serengeti to Arusha by Air
Arusha
Destination: Serengeti / Arusha
Enjoy a final morning activity if flight timing allows, then transfer to the nearest appropriate airstrip for a scheduled flight to Arusha. Continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport, an Arusha hotel or a Zanzibar connection according to the final booking.
