Day 1Arusha to Lake Natron

Destination: Lake Natron / Oldonyo Lengai Drive from Arusha through the Rift Valley landscape toward Lake Natron, with the journey becoming progressively more remote. After check-in, take a gentle guided lakeshore, village or viewpoint activity according to arrival time and local conditions. The evening is reserved for rest and a safety briefing for any professionally guided Oldonyo Lengai activity included in the package.

Day 2Lake Natron Nature, Waterfall and Cultural Experience
Lake Natron
Destination: Lake Natron Spend the day around Lake Natron with local guides, choosing activities according to heat, water conditions and guest fitness. Options may include lakeshore scenery, flamingo viewing from respectful distances, village encounters or a guided waterfall walk. The purpose is to experience the wider Rift Valley environment rather than treating Lake Natron only as a base for the volcano.

Day 3Professionally Guided Oldonyo Lengai Experience

The mountain is steep and demanding, so the guide's decision on continuation or turnaround is final. After the mountain activity, the remainder of the day is kept light for recovery around Lake Natron.

Day 4Lake Natron to Northern Serengeti
Serengeti
Destination: Lake Natron / Serengeti Leave Lake Natron and travel toward the Serengeti using the most appropriate confirmed route for season, road conditions and gate access. This can be a rough and adventurous overland sector, so travel time is not presented as fixed. Once inside the Serengeti, the remainder of the drive becomes wildlife viewing en route to camp.

Destination: Northern Serengeti Explore the northern Serengeti with a flexible game-drive plan shaped by season, rainfall and recent sightings. During the migration season the area may hold large wildebeest and zebra concentrations, but river crossings are unpredictable natural events and are never promised. Outside peak migration weeks, the northern sector still offers resident wildlife, scenic valleys and a quieter wilderness atmosphere. The guide balances patience at sightings with wider exploration.

Destination: Serengeti / Ngorongoro Begin with wildlife viewing in the Serengeti before travelling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey changes gradually from open plains to cooler highlands and should be treated as a transfer-and-game-drive day rather than a short road hop. Depending on timing, optional cultural or archaeological stops can be quoted separately. Arrive near the crater rim or Karatu with enough time to rest before the crater safari.

Day 8Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Departure

After lunch, continue to Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport or the next confirmed connection.
