Overview
The Great Migration is a continuous natural movement rather than one guaranteed spectacle. This itinerary is therefore designed around seasonal positioning. During the early part of the year, southern Serengeti and the wider Ndutu ecosystem may be prioritised; parts of the western and central Serengeti become important during the transition north; and northern Serengeti is commonly prioritised during the main northern movement period. Rainfall and herd movement vary each year, so river crossings and exact herd positions must never be guaranteed.
Four safari nights give the guide time to respond to real wildlife conditions. After the Serengeti, a scheduled flight takes the guest to Zanzibar for a relaxed beach finish.

Fly from Arusha into the Serengeti sector most appropriate for the confirmed travel period. Meet the safari guide and begin a wildlife drive from the airstrip toward camp.

Spend the day exploring areas where large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra may be found during the guest’s season. The broader ecosystem also supports lion, cheetah, hyena, leopard and other wildlife.

Day 3Serengeti Migration Tracking

Continue through the chosen Serengeti sector with routing adjusted to updated sightings, rainfall, road conditions and herd movement. Natural events such as calving concentrations and river crossings cannot be promised.

A fourth safari day allows a less rushed migration experience and gives time for another sector, predator search or optional balloon safari where available.

Transfer to the airstrip and fly to Zanzibar. Continue by private transfer to the beach hotel.
